Description
The Terafinal is a two day event consisting of 6 rounds played with a time control of 60 minutes for all moves plus 10 seconds a move. The tournament is only open to players who have qualified from a Gigafinal (names available in the drop down lists).
Players will be automatically entered into one of five sections
- Under 8 Top prize = £500
- Under 10 Top prize = £1,000
- Under 12 Top prize = £1,500
- Under 14 Top prize = £2,000
- Under 18 Top prize = £2,500
Players can “play up” a section if they so wish by emailing us at admin@ukchess.co.uk. For example, an under 10 could choose to play in the under 14s.
